Sizing and Fit
We understand your frustration, gals. Standards for designers and manufacturers seem to come in more shapes and sizes than women do!
We do our best to make you look good and feel great wearing our clothes, and that means delivering clothes that fit, regardless of what the tag says.
So, for each style, in addition to detailed descriptions, we offer some notes and comments about the fit and cut, and a simple size chart. This size chart indicates which body measurements are most important for fit - e.g. Bust - Waist - Hip - and actual body measurements which fit each size for that particular style.
Your actual body measurements are more important than the garment label numbers. Please measure accurately. If possible have another person measure you. It is important that you choose your size based on your actual body measurements, rather than your normal clothing size! Please pardon us if our size is not your regular size.
For further confidence in fit, click to our Garment Measurement charts when viewing a product (click here to see an example chart). Garment measurements are based on body measurements, with the addition of 'ease', to ensure that the garment fits well on a person with those measurements, even layered over other garments. I.e. body size plus ease equals garment measurement. By checking the actual garment measurements, and comparing to your body measurements, you can determine how tight or how roomy the actual fit will be, and choose the right size with confidence.
Not all styles come in the same size ranges, so please be sure to know your accurate body measurements, and check the size charts for each style, to ensure a proper fit.
We always welcome your comments, questions, and suggestions regarding fit and size, just let us know by clicking here then filling out the form.
